A message from the Owner
The sense of sanctuary begins as soon as you turn away from the paved road and onto the gravel driveway. That's how it started for me –in the middle of winter, 2014. The property was covered in snow – half the house had no heat, several windows quite literally rattled in the wind and yet all I felt was peace, all I saw was light and the glorious hint of possibility in the air. I was leaving Brooklyn in need of retreat and renewal and this place answered my call. Living in nature, bathing in the woods, changed me. It made me more whole, it nurtured my creativity and renewed my spirit.
Initially, my intention was for the house to be a place for my coaching clients to come and do some of their important thinking work.
I work with driven, high-performing creatives and leaders who are keen on making a difference and a contribution to our world. That said, as we set about the work of developing visions and overcoming limiting beliefs, it helps to have this serene place to meet on occasion. It gives me great joy to offer it now for overnight guests looking for retreat and renewal. The space works well for solo retreats, intimate celebrations, workshops or creative meetings.
At the center of my life, there has always been the same mission: to create experiences that exceed expectations, foster community and deepen personal connections. I’m excited to see how we get to grow together! Come. Be in this place and do the work that needs to be done.
Always my best,
